Veterinary Assistant/Technician Riverbend Veterinary Clinic Plainfield, NH 03781 Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Veterinary Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to animals while supporting veterinarians in their daily tasks. This position requires a love for animals, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Duties Assist veterinarians during examinations and procedures. Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring cleanliness and organization. Handle and restrain animals safely during examinations, treatments, nail trimming, drawing blood, and basic grooming Administer medications and vaccinations as directed by the veterinarian. Dispensing, labeling, and renewing medication Perform basic laboratory tests, prepare slides and assist with diagnostic procedures. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each animal.
