Client Service & Administrative Duties:

Greet and assist clients during check-in and check-out Provide support and answer questions via phone, email, chat, and in person Guide clients through the admission process, including reviewing financial options, deposits, and expectations Maintain and update client and patient records accurately in the medical software system Communicate client concerns, requests, and special needs to the veterinary team promptly Schedule appointments and manage incoming calls professionally and efficiently Handle electronic medical records, pet insurance claims, medical record requests, and faxes Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception and hospital environment Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and continuing education opportunities

Veterinary Assistant Duties:

Assist doctors and technicians during patient exams and procedures Restrain patients safely and compassionately for exams, lab work, and treatments Support treatment procedures, including administering medications and fluids under supervision Assist with radiographs and operate imaging equipment when trained Prepare and clean exam rooms, surgical areas, and treatment rooms Stock supplies and ensure workspaces are organized and fully equipped Perform or assist with in-house diagnostics, including bloodwork and lab submissions Input charges and assist with accurate medical recordkeeping Help with surgical preparation and clean-up, including patient monitoring and post-op care Support medication refills and maintain pharmacy inventory Ensure the hospital is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected to meet health and safety standards

What We’re Looking For:

1+ years of experience in a veterinary hospital setting preferred Excellent communication skills and a friendly, team-oriented personality Ability to multitask and stay organized in a dynamic environment Detail-oriented, dependable, and calm under pressure Fear-Free Certification is a plus
