EXPERIENCED

veterinary technician/assistant for a full/part time position. Students in the Rowan Veterinary Program will be considered. The Veterinary Technician/Assistant assists the doctors to the fullest possible extent, to help improve the quality of care given to the patients, aid the doctors in achieving greater efficiency, and contributing to client satisfaction through excellent client services. Experience with exotic pets is helpful but not required. We will train technicians/assistants in all aspects of exotic pet care. The Veterinary Technician/Assistant will assist in multiple areas providing care for the animals we provide for. Client communication and professionalism is greatly stressed. This position will require a working knowledge of pharmaceutical drugs, common diseases, and basic preventative health care recommendations. The Veterinary Technician/Assistant is under the direct guidance and supervision of the established Veterinary Technician Team. A TEAM approach is essential in this practice. All staff are required to work as a TEAM which includes providing the highest compassionate care to patients as well over the top client communications.
