Roles & Responsibilities:
Welcome and assist petparents throughout the clinic experience, delivering excellentcustomer service. Safely handle and restrain pets during wellnessprocedures such as vaccines, nail trims, and microchipping. Prepareand administer vaccines; label and dispense medicationsappropriately. Collect and prepare blood and fecal samples for labtesting. Support product and service recommendations based on petlifestyle and health needs. Promote microchipping and educate petparents on the benefits of preventive care. Drive the companyvehicle to and from clinic locations; load and unload equipment andsupplies. Collaborate with your team to ensure clinic goals areachieved in a safe and efficient manner.
Essential Functions/JobDuties:
Perform pet wellness procedures under the supervision oflicensed veterinary professionals. Maintain a clean and sanitarywork environment by disinfecting clinic spaces and equipment.
Monitor and manage product inventory, including tracking expirationdates. Operate clinic equipment and digital tools such as tabletsand Bluetooth-enabled devices. Ensure a safe, respectful, andorganized clinic space for pets, pet parents, and team members.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age or older with ahigh school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license andwillingness to drive a company vehicle to clinic locations.
Reliable transportation to and from work. Available to workweekends and a variety of weekday shifts, including occasionalovernight travel. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Willingness to work full clinic days (up to 12-14 hours). Comfortworking outdoors in varying weather conditions. Professionalappearance, punctuality, and strong interpersonal skills.
EducationRequirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required.__________________________________________________________________________________________
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in customer service, retail,or animal care is a plus. Comfortable using tablets andBluetooth-enabled devices. Strong organizational and communicationskills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced teamenvironment. Physical Requirements:
Ability to safely and successfully performthe essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and otherfederal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitativeand/or quantitative productivity standards. Ability to maintainregular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA andother federal, state and local standards. Comfortable occasionallyworking outdoors in various weather conditions Must be able to liftand carry up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand for long periods andassist in the care and handling of animals.
