Veterinarian Assistant Animal Clinic of Bay Ridge Brooklyn, NY 11228 About us Animal Clinic of Bay Ridge is a small walk-in clinic in Brooklyn, NY 11228 that has been a part of the community helping animals and our clients since 1969. Our team is full of workers that are supportive of the business and fellow colleagues, and we are currently looking for a member to join our family!
Our work environment includes:
Fast-paced walk-in clinic. A daily large client flow. 10 hours a day, part-time (3-4 days).
Requirements for assistant:
Must have a minimum of 2 years experience as a veterinary assistant Must be able to assist the doctors during examinations such as performing proper restraint techniques for both dogs and cats. Able to take X-Rays. Be familiar with giving S.Q. fluids and other treatments. Help reconstitute medication under the doctor’s guidance. Must perform tasks related to restocking supplies.
