Veterinary Assistant/Technician New York City Veterinary Center Long Island City, NY 11101 Job description Full-time licensed veterinary technician or experienced veterinary assistant needed for a fast-paced animal hospital. Private practice with 3 locations. We are hiring at all locations. Applicants must share our core values which include:

• Client Care and Education
• Patient Care
• Knowledge of Veterinary Medicine
• Animal Handling and Restraining
• In-house and Outside Laboratory
• Pharmacy and Inventory
• Dentistry
• Anesthesia
• Radiology
• Phlebotomy We have multiple locations.

One on East 52nd Street in Manhattan and the other 2 located in the trendy Long Island City neighborhood just one stop into Queens from Manhattan. We are open 7 days a week but we are not a 24 hour facility so no overnight shifts are needed. We offer a 4 day work week with 3 days off. We are a paperless practice so it does require you to be computer savvy. Knowledge of Impromed software is a plus but not necessary.
