Veterinary Assistant/Kennel Attendant Animal Medical Center of Nittany Valley 7996 Nittany Valley Dr, Mill Hall, PA 17751 We are searching for a friendly, self-motivated and team-oriented Part Time Veterinary Assistants to join our team at Animal Medical Center of Nittany Valley! Duties will include animal care, customer service (can include reception duties) and supporting Veterinarians in a variety of tasks. Position could also include Kennel duties, with occasional weekends required. Flexible hours and scheduling! Willing to work with school schedules. Love and comfort with animals ( and their owners!) is a must and animal care experience is preferred, but we are willing to train and support assistants new to the field!

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with animals, preferably in a kennel or veterinary setting
• Knowledge of basic animal care and handling techniques
• Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments safely and confidently
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately
• Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting or carrying heavy objects
• Flexibility to work some weekends and occasional holidays
