What You’llDo As an Emergency Veterinary Assistant at MVA, you will play a keyrole in supporting our emergency department, helping ourtechnicians and veterinarians provide rapid, high-quality care. Inthis position, you will: Assist with triage, anesthesia, surgeryand discharge preparation . Provide hands-on support duringemergency procedures—helping with patient restraint, positioning,and basic treatments. Prepare and restock treatment areas withnecessary supplies and ensure equipment is clean, organized, andreadily available. Communicate compassionately with pet parents—answer basic questions, direct them to the appropriate teammember, and offer a comforting presence during stressful times.
Perform basic laboratory tasks , such as setting up samples fortesting and collecting vital patient data under the guidance of atechnician or veterinarian. Collaborate with emergency techniciansand doctors , sharing crucial updates and contributing to anefficient, team-oriented work environment. Anticipated Schedule This is afull-time position with the following available schedules:

You likely have:
