It is Full-time, Monday through Friday, weekends off!! Vet Tech/assistant experience not required! We will train the right person from the ground up. However, animal handling is a plus! We are a fast pace, high volume clinic as we serve the public, Beaufort County, and several local shelters.
You will learn how to:
- Prep cats and dogs for Surgery
- Administer Vaccines and microchips
- How to sterilize surgical instruments
- How to monitor patients during surgery, to include heart rates, anesthesia machines and what it all means to monitor. This is a big part of the job!
- How to draw blood and run tests
- Give shelter animals their medications and boosters .
