Responsibilities Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures. Perform routine laboratory tests and analyze results. Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed. Conduct X-Ray imaging and maintain accurate records of findings. Provide excellent pet care, including feeding, grooming, and monitoring animal behavior. Maintain a clean and organized work environment following aseptic techniques. Educate pet owners on proper animal husbandry and care practices. Handle animals safely and effectively to minimize stress during examinations or treatments. Support dog training initiatives as needed. Skills Proficient in animal handling techniques to ensure safety for both pets and staff. Knowledgeable in veterinary terminology and dental terminology relevant to animal care. Familiarity with laboratory procedures and equipment used in veterinary settings. Understanding of animal physiology to assist in diagnosing health issues. Experience with X-Ray equipment and interpretation of images is preferred. Strong communication skills for educating pet owners about care practices. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
