The Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for a compassionate and hard-working Full-Time Veterinary Referral Coordinator, with professional communication skills, to join our client service team. This position is perfect for individuals with a background in veterinary medicine, including licensed technicians, veterinary assistants, or highly experienced client service representatives. As a Referral Coordinator, you will work closely with our referred clients and referring veterinarian community to ensure clients and patients are well taken care of and understand the process from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

Help facilitate communication between clients, referring veterinarians, our DVM’s and technicians Receive referral paperwork and accurately enter client/patient information into our EMR (Instinct) Schedule new appointments for assigned specialty departments Retrieve and review referring veterinarians medical records, lab work and imaging for timeline accuracy and upload to patients medical record Ensures clients receive pre-arrival documents and understand the requirements prior to their pets appointment Explain financial responsibilities to the client prior to their pet appointment Ensure primary veterinarians receive patients complete medical records in a timely manner Assists in maintaining email for referrals, referral medical records, client communications, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in general practice or emergency/specialty care Skilled Veterinary Assistant, Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT/CVT/RVT) or highly trained Veterinary Customer Service Representative Exceptional & professional communication skills with clients, team members and our referring veterinarian community
