The Credentialed Veterinary Technician is responsible for carrying out or overseeing patient and client-related duties often delegated by veterinarians. These include advanced nursing care of patients, diagnostic procedures, client education and service and internal team communications. Credentialed Veterinary Technicians aide veterinarians by increasing efficiency and relieving them of technical work and administrative detail. CVT II are also able to assist with anesthetic procedures, including surgery and dentistry.
for the CVT role it requires that you have a AS or BS in Veterinary Technology/Nursing is required.
Appropriate state licensing is required.
Whether you are a CVT or VT
Intermediate computer and software skills required, including: Word, Outlook, and other office management systems and software.
Previous customer service experience desired.
Previous veterinary experience required.
