Kennel Assistant / Veterinary Assistant Entry Level 3.1 3.1 out of 5 stars 8409 West Oak Highway, Seneca, SC 29678 We are in need of an entry level assistant to help our vet assistants/vet techs with cleaning, organizing, and caring for boarding and drop off pets (walking, feeding, watering, cleaning). You will also be restraining pets for vet exams and procedures such as blood draws. In addition, you will do inventory weekly as well as some weekly deep cleaning duties. This is a great position for a student considering the veterinary field. Great potential for promotion to veterinary assistant this fall if that is desired and candidate proves to be enthusiastic, hard working and a fast learner. Pay is $8-9/hour if starting with no experience, with potential for raises as skills are gained. This position could also be filled by someone wanting to continue year round work in this position. Maximum pay for this position is $11/hour with experience, so we expect most candidates to use this as a starter position with plan for advancement. However we would also be happy to have someone who desires this position long term. Hours are three weekdays/week and Sundays 7:45-close (between 5-6pm). There is no on call / after hours work required for this position but will be if you seek advancement in the future to a vet assistant.
