Job Duties
Promote the mission of Lincoln Memorial University to all faculty, staff, students and to the community at large;
promote effective working relationships among faculty, staff and students;
establish curriculum, subject matter and methods of instruction and those aspects of student life which relate to the veterinary medical education process;
promote by precept and example a general atmosphere within the CVM of respect for knowledge, thought and inquiry;
maintain intellectual integrity and to strive for academic excellence in his/her teaching and scientific scholarship;
participate on University and CVM committees;
teach Small Animal Clinical Skills course offerings using models, cadavers and live animals;
apply clinical experience to advance teaching purposes;
develop, maintain and revise clinical skills teaching materials;
implement creative solutions and novel approaches to improving students clinical competencies;
participate in tutoring, assessment, and remediation of CVM professional students;
assist with the clinical skills research program;
complete required institutional, program accreditation, and other reports necessary for the advancement of University programs, both on campus and at extended campus sites;
perform selected clinical services as needed;
participate in community outreach programs; and
