Position Summary:
CTAC, a leading facility in canine bone marrow transplants, is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to support our team in delivering exceptional patient care! This role is ideal for individuals passionate about animal care and interested in working alongside a team of specialists in advanced veterinary medicine.
Hours:
This role will require a flexible schedule and would be anywhere from 10-25 hours per week. This does involve weekends, occasional overnights, and occasional holidays.
What You’ll Do:
Assist the veterinary technicians and specialists with patient care, setup, and monitoring. Help with sample collection, patient handling, and general comfort during procedures. Provide clients with patient updates and help communicate important care information. Assist in maintaining and preparation of advanced equipment (e.g., apheresis machines) for procedures. Adhere to OSHA safety guidelines, maintain clean workspaces, and assist with routine cleaning and isolation protocols.

High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in a veterinary setting is required. Basic understanding of animal handling, patient monitoring, and general safety procedures.
