Our technical staff are the driving force of the work we do and we want to have you be a part of this team! We are open Monday to Friday 7:30 am to 6:30 pm, so no weekends! Must be capable of working around aggressive animals. Must be capable of working around all types of prescription medications. Must be physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day. Must be capable of working around all types of animals: Cats, Dogs, Birds, and Exotics. Must be physically capable of handling dogs weighing up to 200 lbs. Must be physically capable of bending, twisting, stooping, crawling, pushing, pulling, reaching above and below head, climbing, squatting, standing for long periods of time, walking, sitting, listening, and talking. Must be able to use hands to handle and feel and have complete finger dexterity. Must be capable of performing simple mathematical equations, proper medical dosages, and fluid rates. Must be capable of working around blood. Must be capable of standing for prolonged periods of time. Must be capable of working around noxious odors. Must be capable of working with difficult or distraught clients. Must be capable of being exposed to X-ray radiation during X-ray procedures. Must be capable of working in the presence of anesthetic gases. Must be capable of multitasking.
