We’re looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, and professional team player who can problem solve, critically think, and communicate effectively in our fast-paced, privately owned veterinary hospital.
Our qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of reception or veterinary assistant experience required. Degree in animal science or background in animal medicine is strongly preferred. Strong communication skills in person, in writing and by phone. Ability to problem-solve and contribute to solutions in a constructive way. Initiative and desire to help others without being asked. Well organized and professional with the ability to shift priorities as needed to adapt to change. What will you do? Always deliver exceptional customer service. Work collaboratively with a unified team to deliver an exceptional patient experience every time. Assist technicians in appointments, completing diagnostics and treatments as directed by the veterinarian. Answer phone calls and client emails, schedule patient appointments, greet clients, check out clients at the conclusion of appointments and process payments, organize and send medical information upon request. Function positively, efficiently and professionally in a fast-moving and high-stress environment. Take initiative to maintain a clean, working environment.
