out of 5 stars 701 20th Street South, Birmingham, AL 35233 Description Animal Lab Technicians are responsible for the husbandry/cage wash of all animals used in ongoing research projects at UAB. This role is critical for the university to achieve standard care of animals used in research. Job is an apprenticeship in laboratory animal technology. Provides training and experience toward acquiring competence in caring for laboratory animals of different species and specialized colonies. Receives continuous training and experience towards acquiring competence in caring for laboratory animals of different species and specialized colonies (i.e. pathogen free, germ free, and biohazard, etc.) Qualifications UAB Temporary Services accepts applications from individuals with a wide variety of skills, education, and experiences.
