Urgent Care Veterinary Technician (Evenings/Weekends Part Time) Double Oak Mountain Animal Hospital Birmingham, AL 35242 Hey Birmingham Vet Techs! Are you a licensed or experienced technician? Double Oak Mountain Animal Hospital & Urgent Care may be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for. Our growing urgent care offers appointments Saturday and Sunday evenings! Shift hours are 12pm-10pm on weekends. This means our technicians will receive competitive pay rates and the interest of urgent care cases without the taxing schedule and mental workload that often accompany emergency overnight shifts. At Double Oak, we pride ourselves on teamwork, kindness, and a commitment to gold standard care for the patients we treat. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year experience as a veterinary technician, work with poise under pressure, and maintain a positive outlook through busy nights. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to animal handling, venipuncture, catheter placement, radiology, anesthesia monitoring, physical examinations, laboratory work, pharmacy, patient recovery, and compassionate care for all patients.
