Job Description We areseeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed VeterinaryTechnician to join our team! In this role, you will play a crucialpart in providing high-quality care to our animal patients whilesupporting our veterinarians and clients. Assist in the triage ofincoming patients, assessing their condition and prioritizing careRestrain and handle animals safely during examinations andprocedures Collect and analyze laboratory samples, including blood,urine, and tissue specimens Perform diagnostic imaging procedures,such as X-rays and ultrasounds Provide nursing care for medical andhospitalized cases with varying degrees of stability Administermedications as prescribed by veterinarians Communicate treatmentplans effectively with pet owners, ensuring they understand careinstructions Prepare animals and equipment for surgical proceduresAssist in anesthetic management during surgeries Maintain a cleanand organized work environment Collaborate with the veterinary teamto ensure optimal patient care Stay updated on the latestveterinary techniques and best practices

Qualifications We’re LookingFor:
A Licensed Veterinary Technician with an active licenserequired, 1+ year professional experience preferred but notrequired Consistent punctuality and reliability in adherence toscheduled shifts Availability to work weekends Excellent clientcommunication and medical record management skills Comprehensiveknowledge of veterinary procedures, preventative care, and hospitaloperations Expertise in safe and low-stress animal restrainttechniques Proficiency in various sample collection methods,including blood, urine, fecal, and skin specimens Experience inradiographic positioning and image capture, with additional skillsin dental radiography being a plus Experience in anesthesiaadministration and surgical monitoring Commitment to professionalethics and continuous learning Ability to work in a fast-pacedenvironment with exposure to animal-related hazards The idealcandidate will possess a combination of technical expertise andunwavering commitment to animal welfare in a dynamic veterinarysetting.
