In this role, you will provide essential support in the care and treatment of animals, working closely with veterinarians to ensure the health and well-being of our patients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in veterinary care, excellent communication skills, and a genuine love for animals. Duties Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and other medical procedures. Perform diagnostic tests including X-rays and laboratory work. Administer medications and vaccinations as directed by the veterinarian. Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during procedures. Restrain animals safely and effectively for examinations or treatments. Educate pet owners on animal husbandry, dental care, and general pet care practices. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient. Support the training of dogs and other animals as needed. Qualifications Certification or degree in Veterinary Technology is preferred. Experience in veterinary critical care is a plus. Proficiency in animal restraint techniques and knowledge of dental terminology. Familiarity with animal husbandry practices and general pet care is essential. Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
