In this role, you will play a vital part in providing high-quality care to animals while assisting veterinarians in various procedures. Your expertise will ensure that our patients receive the best possible treatment in a safe and supportive environment. Responsibilities Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures, ensuring all necessary tools and equipment are prepared and sterile. Perform routine laboratory tests, including blood work, urinalysis, and fecal examinations. Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian. Monitor animal vital signs and behavior during procedures and recovery. Maintain accurate medical records for each patient, documenting treatments and observations. Provide client education on animal care, nutrition, and preventive health measures. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the clinic, including kennel areas and examination rooms. Utilize aseptic techniques during procedures to prevent infection. Demonstrate knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and dental terminology to assist in patient care.

Experience Ideal candidates will possess:

A degree or certification in Veterinary Technology or a related field. Proficiency in animal catheterization techniques. Familiarity with laboratory procedures relevant to veterinary medicine. Strong understanding of animal physiology and anatomy. Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or kennel environment is preferred.
