We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our animal patients. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced veterinary clinic and make a difference in the lives of animals and their owners.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist veterinarian with examinations, surgeries, and other medical procedures
  • Perform laboratory tests and analyze samples
  • Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian
  • Take and develop X-rays
  • Prepare animals for surgery and monitor their vital signs during procedures
  • Provide post-operative care and monitor recovery progress
  • Maintain accurate medical records for all patients
  • Clean and sterilize equipment and surgical instruments
  • Assist with animal handling and restraint
  • Provide compassionate care to animals and their owners
Skills:
  • Proficient in X-ray techniques and interpretation
  • Knowledge of kennel procedures, including cleaning, feeding, and exercise protocols
  • Strong understanding of veterinary technician duties and responsibilities
  • Familiarity with animal care best practices
  • Knowledge of veterinary critical care procedures
  • Understanding of animal physiology and anatomy
  • Excellent animal handling skills
  • Ability to perform animal catheterization
  • Proficient in laboratory procedures, including sample collection and analysis
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working as a Veterinary Technician is highly desirable
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
