Veterinary Technician Ramblewood Animal Hospital 8335 West Atlantic Boulevard, Coral Springs, FL 33071 Overview Ramblewood Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time Veterinary Technician to provide skilled care to our patients and exceptional service to our clients. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in animal care, client communication, and veterinary procedures, with a passion for improving the lives of pets and their owners. Duties Assist veterinarians during examinations and other medical procedures. Perform surgical prep and anesthesia monitoring during surgery as well as in recovery. Perform routine laboratory tests, including blood work and urinalysis. Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian. Place IV catheters and perform blood draws Monitor animal health and behavior before, during, and after procedures. Provide nursing care to hospitalized animals, including feeding, bathing, and exercising. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient. Educate pet owners on proper animal care, nutrition, and training techniques. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the clinic or hospital environment.
