Veterinary Technician Location:

Ft. Lauderdale area Full-time or Part-time Hourly $20 to $23 plus benefits package, including paid continuing education, vacation time, sick time, and a uniform allowance. Need a Vet Tech who has experience & confidence in surgery/ anesthesia, but also in general practice. Individual has to be well-rounded. The successful candidate for this position most importantly must have at least 2 years experience in an animal hospital as veterinary technician. Candidates should also possess the following skills: IV catheter placement Drawing blood from multiple sites on a patient Comfortable safely handling dogs and cats Performing digital radiographs Anesthesia monitoring Demonstrate attention to detail for patient care Proficiency in phone etiquette and communication The ability to provide and implement attentive, exceptional client service Dental prophylaxis knowledge is a plus Bilingual is a plus
