Listen to our clients as they explain why their dog/cat/bird/rat/goat/chicken is the best one that has ever lived Some of the responsibilities of this role include: the Ability to handle and restrain animals using appropriate procedures (We Use fear free methods only-employment contingent upon proficiency in fear free handling) Ability to walk animals. Ability to clean and maintain kennels, cages, runs and stalls. Perform general cleaning in treatment, reception and boarding areas to control the spread of disease. Willing to scoop the poop, dude Learn on your feet, and be a self starter Have compassion for all living things Experience of 1+ years in a veterinary hospital or completed an AVMA accredited technician program Draw Blood, Place IV Catheters, and run entry level lab samples (fecal, ear cytology, urinalysis etc) Work in a team atmosphere (that includes being willing to cross train to help your teammates) Reliable transportation, and a schedule without restrictions during our times open. We are open 7:30-7pm M,T,TH,F and 1-2 Saturdays/month 9-1.
