Qualified candidates must be available to travel to Tallahassee (no overnights) once a week with their team (transportation is provided, you do not have to drive) and for some evenings/weekends/holidays for rotating on call duties. If you are unable to travel once a week, please do not apply!

Job Requirements:

• Must have a record of longevity in and commitment to veterinary medicine with a minimum of 2 years work consecutive experience.
• Must possess good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Must be confident in handling and restraining animals during exams and procedures.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work independently and without direct supervision.
• Must be efficient with anesthesia, venipuncture and IV catheters.
• Experience in performing ophthalmic diagnostic tests is a HUGE plus!! Responsibilities/Duties include but are not limited to:
• Assist doctors in exams and surgery
• Educate clients
• Perform blood draws and placement of catheters
• Record in patient files accurately
• Monitor patients under anesthesia
• Participate in daily cleanliness of our clinics Company Benefits include:
