Overview:

Here at Oakdale AnimalHospital, we are seeking a Certified Vet Tech to join our team! Wehave a large team of experienced CVTs that are dedicated toproviding high quality care to patients and partnering with ourskilled yet approachable DVM team. The CVT team at Oakdale AnimalHospital enjoy teaching and training new grads as well assupporting one another daily through learning new skills. Qualifications:

Position Skills:

Professional client communicationand education obtaining medical histories and symptomsLaboratoryprocedures including but not limited to: hematology, cytology,urinalysis, microbiology, blood chemistry, and fecalsDiagnosticimaging and implementing safety protocols of fellow staffmembersNursing skills including: restraining patients,administering medications PO/IV/SUBQ/IM, applying and maintainingbandages, proficient IV catheter placement and venipuncture,surgery prep, anaesthesia monitoringProficient in dentalprophylaxis

Position Requirements:

Veterinary TechnicianCertification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT) or the abilityto transfer credentials from state to state.

Associates degree inVeterinary TechnologyNew grads welcome and encouraged toapply!
