Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for animal care and welfare, with the ability to provide high-quality support in a veterinary setting. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting veterinarians with medical procedures, ensuring the comfort and safety of our animal patients, and providing exceptional care to pet owners. Duties Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures. Perform routine laboratory tests and analyze samples. Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed. Monitor animal patients’ vital signs and overall health status. Provide education to pet owners on proper animal care and husbandry practices. Maintain accurate medical records for each patient. Prepare animals for surgery, including catheterization and anesthesia monitoring. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the clinic or hospital environment. Participate in client communication regarding pet health and wellness. Skills Proficiency in veterinary practices, including animal husbandry and critical care. Experience with laboratory procedures relevant to veterinary medicine. Knowledge of animal catheterization techniques. Familiarity with equine care is a plus. Strong skills in pet grooming and dog training are advantageous. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
