Key Responsibilities:

Assist in

Critical Procedures:

Work alongside our veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and medical procedures, ensuring the highest standard of care for our patients.

Administer Treatments:

Skillfully provide medications, vaccines, and treatments, following the veterinarians’ directives to support the health and well-being of animals.

Conduct Laboratory Tests:

Perform essential diagnostic tests such as bloodwork, urinalysis, and fecal examinations to help diagnose and treat our patients effectively.

Operate Advanced Equipment:

Take and develop X-rays, ensuring accurate imaging for precise diagnosis and treatment.

Prepare and Monitor:

Prepare animals for surgery, monitor their vital signs during procedures, and provide attentive post-operative care. Maintain a

Clean Environment:

Ensure all equipment, instruments, and treatment areas are meticulously cleaned and maintained.

Educate and Support:

Guide pet owners on proper care, medication administration, and preventive measures to promote the health of their pets. Handle with

Care:

Interact with animals compassionately, ensuring their comfort and safety during all procedures. Assist with

Additional Care:

Provide support in animal catheterization, wound care, bandaging, and basic dog training to help maintain well-behaved pets.

What We’re Looking For:
Qualifications:

Certified Veterinary Technician or equivalent qualification preferred.

Skills:

Proficient in animal handling, restraint methods, and laboratory procedures. Comfortable with X-ray machines and developing X-rays.

Communication:

Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with pet owners and collaborate with our dedicated team.

Multitasking Ability:

Ability to handle a variety of tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

Organizational Skills:

Job Types:

$15.00 – $18.00 per hour
