Veterinary Technician/ Nurse 3.1 3.1 out of 5 stars Kendall, FL Crossroads Animal Hospital is looking for an experienced Veterinary Technician to join the team. We are an established practice serving the Kendall community for over 30 years. Candidate must have at least 2 years of experience, be fluent in English and Spanish, be dependable, have good communication skills, be a team player but be able to work independently as well. Must have the ability to multi-task and exceptional customer service. Technicians are responsible for assisting the doctors, daily treatment of hospitalized patients, rehabilitation, assisting in the operating room, medical procedures, laboratory procedures, radiology, pharmacy, operation and maintenance of instruments and equipment, inventory, and client communication/education. Required technical skills for the position : place catheters, perform radiographs, assist clinician with patient care, patient monitoring, surgical prep, anesthesia induction, reading/working with treatment sheets, computer knowledge.
