We are looking for Certified Veterinary Technicians to helpexpand our veterinary technician appointment options!

Monday

• Friday:

  7:00AM

• 6:00

PM Saturday:

8:00AM

• 1:00PM We are closed on Sundays Job Description Job duties include,but are not limited to: Animal restraint, triage of incomingpatients, collection and analysis of lab samples, diagnosticimaging, management and nursing care of medical and hospitalizedcases with varying degrees of stability, administration ofmedications, effective communication of treatment plans withclients, surgical preparation and assistance, and anestheticmanagement.

Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises.

May be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste and potentiallycontagious diseases. QualificationsWe’re looking for: A Certified Veterinary Technician, 1+ yearexperience preferred but not required A high work ethic andpositive attitude team member Ability to arrive on-time and readyto work Saturday availability Exceptional customer service skillsand ability to communicate precisely Interpret medical records andrecord client history accurately Knowledge in preventative care,surgical procedures, and hospital flow Ability to restrain pets ina low-stress and safe manner Proficient in sample collection toinclude blood samples, urine, fecal, and skin Ability to properlyset-up and process laboratory samples and tests Proficient inpositioning and capturing radiographs, positioning for dentalradiographs are a plus Proficient in anesthesia and surgicalmonitoring A self-starter with the desire to continue to advanceone’s knowledge and skillset Ability to receive in a professionalmanner constructive feedback to maintain hospital efficiencyAdditional Information We offer our staff: Comprehensive Benefits(health, dental, vision, liability, 401k & 401K matching program,life & supplemental insurance, HSA, & FSA)
