What You’ll Do:

As our Surgical Lead, you’ll split your time between great patient care and team support.

Daily responsibilities include:

Leading day-to-day surgical operations and maintaining workflow Administering anesthesia and monitoring patient recovery Supporting the DVM in procedures and prepping the OR and in appointments Developing and maintaining training protocols Mentoring and supporting surgical team members Collaborating with doctors and leadership on best practices Ensuring consistent, compassionate, high-quality care for every patient

What You Bring:

5+ years of experience as a veterinary technician with a focus on surgery Leadership experience preferred – but not required for the right candidate Credentialed technician (CVT/RVT/LVT) preferred, not required Strong skills in anesthesia, surgery prep, and recovery A proactive, positive attitude and excellent communication skills A passion for mentoring and team development Enjoys project ownership of surgical department and surgical team Why Flora Family Vet?
