The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background with at least the past 3 uninterrupted years in an hospital performing surgery regularly. Responsibilities Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures. Perform routine laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging. Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed. Monitor animal health and behavior during recovery. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation. Provide client education on pet care, nutrition, and preventive health measures. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the veterinary facility, including kennels and treatment areas. Utilize aseptic techniques during procedures to minimize infection risks. Handle animals safely and humanely while providing comfort. Be willing to train and develop others Qualifications Knowledge of animal physiology and veterinary terminology is essential. Experience with animal handling, care, and husbandry practices. Familiarity with animal catheterization techniques is preferred. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while demonstrating compassion for animals.
