Part-Time Veterinary Technician (Seasonal, Temporary) SPCA Tampa Bay Florida Inc. 9099 130th Avenue North, Largo, FL 33773 We are looking for a part-time, seasonal Veterinary Technician to join our team! This position offers flexible hours, we can work around your schedule (up to 30 hours per week). This is a temporary position.
What You’ll Do:
As a Veterinary Technician, you’ll play a key role in the care and treatment of shelter animals.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assist the shelter veterinarians with surgeries, medical procedures, and routine exams Assist with administering vaccinations, injections, and microchipping Conducting and interpreting results for basic lab diagnostics (e.g., ear cytology, skin scrapes, DTMs) Supporting our mission by ensuring the animals receive high-quality, compassionate care
