Veterinary Support Specialist Snip Happens 6951 Pine Blossom Road, Milton, FL 32570 Are you looking for more than just a paycheck? A HOPE is currently hiring a Veterinary Technician to join our small but mighty team at our high-volume, high-quality nonprofit spay/neuter clinic. If you believe in affordable, accessible veterinary care and want to grow in a mission-focused role, we want to hear from you. About the Role This is not your average tech job. You’ll assist in surgery and recovery, but you’ll also be part of a team that goes above and beyond to help our community. This role requires flexibility, initiative, and a true desire to serve. Cleaning floors, restocking supplies, helping outside, and supporting the overall clinic function are just as important as assisting in surgery. If you’re looking to stand in the OR all day, this isn’t the job for you. We’re here to change lives—and we’re looking for teammates who are ready to roll up their sleeves and do the work that makes that possible. Who We’re Looking For (We’ll Train the Right Person) Minimum 2 years of veterinary experience , with at least 1 year at the same workplace (we value employees who are able to maintain a job) Comfortable with dogs, cats , and all aspects of safe animal handling Excellent manners , communication skills, and attention to detail Able to follow instructions , think on your feet, and move efficiently Must be 18 years or older Must be tech-savvy , able to use Google/Microsoft tools, and willing to learn our shelter/clinic software Able to communicate clearly and respectfully with team members and clients Willing to cross-train and support wherever help is needed Open to working outdoors when required and keeping common spaces clean and organized Must be able to work 4(four) 10(ten) hour shifts back-to-back when being moved to a full time schedule
