Responsibilities Assist veterinarians in treating animals by preparing and maintaining examination rooms. Perform laboratory tests, including blood work, urinalysis, and fecal exams. Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian. Provide support in veterinary care situations, ensuring the safety and comfort of animals. Good communication skills, positivity and teamwork Conduct pet grooming tasks, including bathing, nail trimming, and ear cleaning. Implement proper animal husbandry practices to promote health and well-being. Restrain animals safely during examinations and procedures to minimize stress for both the animal and staff. Maintain accurate medical records for all patients while ensuring confidentiality. Experience Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician or in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with laboratory procedures and equipment used in veterinary medicine. Demonstrated ability to perform animal restraint techniques safely and effectively.
