Veterinary Technician/Receptionist St. Augustine Animal Clinic 301 State Road 16, Saint Augustine, FL 32084 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist or Veterinary Technician, no experience required but it is preferred. Responsibilities Greet clients and their pets warmly upon arrival and provide assistance as needed. Schedule appointments and manage the clinic’s calendar efficiently. Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information about services offered. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is up-to-date. Process payments and handle financial transactions with care. Assist veterinary staff with animal restraint and handling during examinations or procedures when necessary. Promote pet care services, including vaccinations, treatments and bathinh to clients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and waiting room. Collaborate with veterinary technicians and veterinarians to ensure seamless patient care. Experience Previous experience in a veterinary or animal care setting is preferred but not required. Familiarity with veterinary terminology, animal physiology, and basic pet care practices is advantageous. Skills in animal restraint, dog handling, or grooming are highly valued. Experience in customer service or administrative roles will be beneficial for this position.
