Veterinary Technician Live Oak Veterinary Neurology 335 Stephenson Avenue, Savannah, GA 31406 Live Oak Veterinary Neurology is seeking a full time Veterinary Technician to join our team. We are a growing and progressive veterinary specialty practice with expertise in veterinary neurology and neurosurgery. We have two board certified Neurologists on site and work with a board certified Cardiologist every 6 weeks. We emphasize culture and a positive work environment for our staff. As a Veterinary Technician at Live Oak Veterinary Neurology you will learn about neurological diseases, anesthesia, surgery, and how to run an MRI. Some requirements for this position include;
- Blood draws
- Placing IV catheters in multiple locations
- Intubation & extubation
- Setting up x-ray and taking radiographs
- Troubleshoot and maintain anesthesia
- Critical care monitoring
- Proper and effective animal restraint
- Able to lift objects or pets of at least 30lbs
- Strong communication skills
- Must be able to work well within a team
- Responsible and reliable
- Has compassion for clients, patients and team members Pay and Benefits $18.00
