The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of veterinary technician experience, and be able to practice fear-free techniques, read and set up lab samples, draw blood, place IV catheters, accurately perform drug calculations, anesthesia monitoring, administer medications and most importaantly provide excellent patient care. The main responsibilities for the technician position are providing exceptional patient care, maintaining a productive and efficient patient flow, and delegating to fellow staff members to help achieve this goal. The technicians at Montrose are the right hand to our doctors. Individuals must be dependable, work well with others, and be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time position and the salary is based on experience and skill level.
