Non-licensed Vet Tech Total Veterinary Care 1619 Collins Rd NW Ste 600, Kennesaw, GA 30152 Total Veterinary Care in Kennesaw, GA, is looking for a dedicated, motivated, and experienced Vet Assistant / non-licensed Vet Tech to join our dynamic team. If you are passionate about animal care, client education, and have proven skills as a vet assistant, we want to hear from you! Hiring range : $16.00 – $18.00 per hour, depending on experience and skill-level.

Schedule :

Must be available a minimum of 30 hours each week to be considered full-time Hospital hours : Monday-Saturday, 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. Must be available to work rotating Saturdays To apply : After reading the complete job announcement, please send your up-to-date resume AND provide an answer to all 3 application questions. We are looking for someone who : Has at least 3 full years ( 36+ months) of full-time experience as a veterinary assistant in a veterinary hospital, and has the ability to demonstrate proper restraining techniques, in-house laboratory skills, catheter placement, blood draws, ability to accurately fill prescriptions, etc. Has strong soft skills/people skills including effective communication with clients and fellow team members, problem-solving, work ethic, maturity, time-management, and other interpersonal skill Has a solid understanding of preventative medications, medical terminology and calculations, and a passion for client education Takes initiative by preparing for each day’s appointments, answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, retrieving medical history of patients, surgical assisting, etc. Can demonstrate efficient organization and has the ability to pay attention to multiple details by taking initiative and staying motivated to provide excellent service to our clients.
