The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and the ability to provide high-quality support in a veterinary setting. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting veterinarians with various tasks, ensuring the health and well-being of our animal patients. Responsibilities Perform animal catheterization and assist with surgical procedures. Monitor and record vital signs of animals during examinations and treatments. Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by veterinarians. Conduct laboratory tests, including blood work and urinalysis. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient. Educate pet owners on proper care, nutrition, and training techniques. Provide compassionate care to animals in distress or critical conditions. Assist in the management of inventory, including medical supplies and medications. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the clinic environment. Qualifications Certification or degree as a Veterinary Technician is preferred. Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology and animal physiology. Experience in veterinary critical care is an advantage. Familiarity with laboratory procedures related to animal care. Excellent communication skills for interacting with pet owners and team members. Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately. Previous experience in pet care or dog training is beneficial but not required. A strong commitment to providing exceptional care for all animals.
