Kennel Technician 4.0 4.0 out of 5 stars Franklin, MA 02038 Description Join our amazing team as our newest Kennel Assistant! Veterinary practice in Franklin, MA is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated kennel technician to work in our Boarding department. Duties include but are not limited to checking in clients, feeding animals, cleaning kennels, administering medications, and assisting with hospital tasks as needed. Experience working with animals is preferred. An ideal candidate would have confidence working with small and large dogs as well as cats. A positive attitude and the ability to multitask and handle a high pressure, fast-paced environment are a must. Eligible candidates must be available to work weekend hours and must be available year round. Please reply to this posting for consideration. What You’ll Bring:
Must have previous animal experience Must have sufficient physical strength, mobility, and stamina to lift and/or move heavy pets and objects A sense of fun and teamwork – Smiles and laughter are required for all who apply Dependable and able to work independently The ability to monitor pets for signs of distress or disease A willingness to learn and the desire to provide gentle, compassionate care for boarded and hospitalized pets References, background checks, and drug testing are required
