What You’ll Do As the Emergency Lead Technician, you’ll play a key role in overseeing day-to-day operations on the emergency floor while delivering high-level nursing care. This is a leadership position that blends hands-on clinical responsibilities with mentorship and team coordination. In this role, you will: Provide top-quality emergency nursing care, including triage, diagnostics, and treatments
Mentor and coach team members to develop technical and communication skills
Coordinate daily staff assignments and direct team members to maintain efficient treatment flow
Ensure all end-of-shift responsibilities are completed before staff departure
Participate in the training and onboarding of new team members
Maintain accurate controlled drug logs and complete daily checks in EzyVet
Act as a key liaison between ER technicians, assistants, and hospital leadership
Monitor and manage daily staffing needs, scheduling updates, and shift coordination
Support and uphold all hospital policies, protocols, and safety standards
Attend leadership meetings and contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives Anticipated Schedule
This is a full-time position
Wednesday-Saturday:
2:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Some holidays are required Compensation Starting at $31/hr, commensurate with experience

CVT/LVT/RVT
licensure in good standing
Strong technical skills and confidence working in emergency settings
Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with EzyVet or similar hospital management systems
The ability to delegate, organize, and lead with professionalism
