• Job Description Jobduties include, but are not limited to: Our Treatment Techniciansare responsible for
• phlebotomy, catheter placement, cystocentesis,fine-needle aspirates, animal restraint, anesthesia monitoring,surgical prep, running treatments on our appointments and stellarpatient care. Our ideal candidate will have strong computer skillsand excellent customer care skills. You must also be thoughtful,friendly, curious, responsible, punctual, and have a strong desireto learn!
• Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises.

May be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste and potentiallycontagious diseases. QualificationsWe’re looking for: A certified veterinary technician, 1+ yearexperience preferred but not required We are open to new graduatesfrom an AVMA accredited program that are waiting to take the VTNETop-notch technical skills! Ability to arrive on-time and ready towork Computer skills a must! We are a paperless practice! Paysattention to detail and is a fast learner Exceptional customerservice skills and ability to communicate precisely Interpretmedical records and record client history accurately Knowledge inpreventative care and hospital flow Ability to restrain pets in alow-stress and safe manner Proficient in sample collection toinclude blood samples, urine, fecal, and skin Ability to properlyset-up and process laboratory samples and tests, preferred but notrequired Proficient in positioning and capturing radiographsProficient in anesthesia preparation, monitoring, and recovery Aself-starter with the desire to continue to advance one’s knowledgeand skillset Ability to receive in a professional mannerconstructive feedback to maintain hospital efficiency
