It featuresa larger waiting room, 5 exam rooms, an expanded treatment area,state-of-the-art Surgical Suite and ICU. We also have more spaciousrooms for boarding including an exercise yard and indoor largeanimal treatment area with stalls. JobDescription Job duties include, but are not limited to: Animalrestraint, triage of incoming patients, collection and analysis oflab samples, diagnostic imaging, management and nursing care ofmedical and hospitalized cases with varying degrees of stability,administration of medications, effective communication of treatmentplans with clients, surgical preparation and assistance, andanesthetic management. Must be able to withstand unpleasant odorsand noises. May be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste andpotentially contagious diseases. QualificationsWe’re looking for: A high work ethic and positive attitude teammember Ability to arrive on-time and ready to work A minimum of1-year experience preferred, CVT/RVT/LVT a bonus Weekendavailability Exceptional customer service skills and ability tocommunicate precisely Interpret medical records and record clienthistory accurately Knowledge in preventative care, surgicalprocedures, and hospital flow Ability to restrain pets in alow-stress and safe manner Proficient in sample collection toinclude blood samples, urine, fecal, and skin Ability to properlyset-up and process laboratory samples and tests Proficient inpositioning and capturing radiographs, positioning for dentalradiographs are a plus Proficient in anesthesia and surgicalmonitoring A self-starter with the desire to continue to advanceone’s knowledge and skillset Ability to receive in a professionalmanner constructive feedback to maintain hospital efficiency
