In this role, you will playa crucial part in providing high-quality care to our animalpatients while supporting our veterinarians and clients. Assist inthe triage of incoming patients, assessing their condition andprioritizing care Restrain and handle animals safely duringexaminations and procedures Collect and analyze laboratory samples,including blood, urine, and tissue specimens Perform diagnosticimaging procedures, such as X-rays and ultrasounds Provide nursingcare for medical and hospitalized cases with varying degrees ofstability Administer medications as prescribed by veterinariansCommunicate treatment plans effectively with pet owners, ensuringthey understand care instructions Prepare animals and equipment forsurgical procedures Assist in anesthetic management duringsurgeries Maintain a clean and organized work environmentCollaborate with the veterinary team to ensure optimal patient careStay updated on the latest veterinary techniques and best practices

Qualifications We’re Looking For:

A Licensed VeterinaryTechnician with an active license required, 1+ year professionalexperience preferred but not required Consistent punctuality andreliability in adherence to scheduled shifts Availability to workweekends Excellent client communication and medical recordmanagement skills Comprehensive knowledge of veterinary procedures,preventative care, and hospital operations Expertise in safe andlow-stress animal restraint techniques Proficiency in varioussample collection methods, including blood, urine, fecal, and skinspecimens Experience in radiographic positioning and image capture,with additional skills in dental radiography being a plusExperience in anesthesia administration and surgical monitoringCommitment to professional ethics and continuous learning Abilityto work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to animal-relatedhazards The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technicalexpertise and unwavering commitment to animal welfare in a dynamicveterinary setting.
