We strive to have a friendly and welcoming work environment and prioritize positive and supportive teamwork! Assist in all aspects of animal care. Draw blood and run lab work. Clean sterilize, and maintain exam rooms, and operating rooms, treatment areas, and surgical equipment. Comfort and restrain pets during examinations and care. Call and interact with pet owners and their pets, getting histories in exam rooms. Administer medications to pets. Perform some clerical duties as needed, including answering phones occasionally when needed. You will gain a working knowledge of medical and hospital procedures as you learn and grow. You will assist in surgeries, dental procedures, ultrasound and CLT. Previous experience working as a Veterinary Technician a plus. High School diploma or equivalent. Friendly and caring demeanor towards clients and animals. A love of all animals. Self Starter. Motivated to learn. Team player. Reliable, with reliable transportation. A calm presence in stressful situations and patience with clients and pets. Positive attitude a must!
