The Position We are seeking a skilled and passionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring expertise, dedication, and a genuine love for animals to help ensure our clinic continues to excel in its mission of compassionate care. Key Responsibilities As a Veterinary Technician, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Assisting veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and medical procedures. Collecting and preparing laboratory samples such as blood, urine, and tissue for testing. Administering medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian. Monitoring and caring for hospitalized pets, ensuring their comfort and safety. Educating pet owners on general animal care, post-treatment protocols, and preventative health measures. Maintaining accurate and detailed medical records for all patients. Handling diagnostic imaging processes such as X-rays and ultrasounds. Ensuring that the clinic’s equipment is properly maintained and sterilized.

Qualifications Required:

Previous experience in a clinical or hospital setting. Strong knowledge of animal anatomy, pharmacology, and common medical conditions. Excellent communication skills, both with team members and pet owners. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.

Preferred:

Certification as a Veterinary Technician (or eligibility to be certified). Proficiency with EzyVet veterinary software systems.
