Our shelter also provides service to the community through low-cost spay/neuter and vaccine clinics. We are looking for an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our medical team, CVT preferred. The ideal candidate will have a passion for shelter medicine, put the animals first, and have a can-do attitude. Curiosity, willingness to learn and openness to new ideas and techniques are essential. Required skills include ability to draw blood, place IV catheters, prep patients for surgery, perform dental cleanings and take dental x-rays, position patients for radiographs, perform basic in-house laboratory work, and interact with clients and other Humane Society Staff in a professional manner.
